Speech Therapy · No-Show Recovery

A late cancellation shouldn't cost you the whole hour

When a patient drops a therapy session at short notice, TerminJet offers the slot to the next suitable person on your waitlist. You approve, they reply Yes, the hour is filled.

What TerminJet does differently

The freed hour gets reoffered, not lost

A cancelled assessment or 60-minute session triggers an offer to waitlist patients who match the indication, age group and time. Nobody has to remember who was waiting for a Tuesday morning.

First Yes wins, cleanly

Offers go out in ranked order with a reply window. The first patient to confirm gets the slot; the rest are released automatically. No double-bookings, no calling someone back to say it's gone.

Consent recorded before anyone is messaged

Patients get a WhatsApp or SMS offer only if they opted in. Consent is captured at sign-up and stored, so every message has a documented basis and you stay on the right side of GDPR.

Built for speech therapy, run for you

The matching template knows that an intake call, an assessment and recurring therapy sessions each behave differently. A German agency configures and maintains it, so you're not left tuning rules yourself.

How it works

  1. Schritt 01

    A session is cancelled

The patient cancels online, or your front desk marks the therapy appointment as freed. TerminJet sees the open slot and its details: therapist, length, indication, time of day.

  2. Schritt 02

Suitable waitlist patients are offered the slot

Consented patients who fit the slot get a short WhatsApp or SMS asking if they want it. They reply Yes or No. You can require your approval before anything sends.

  3. Schritt 03

The first confirmation fills the hour

The first Yes is booked in, the others are released, and your calendar updates. The recovered appointment looks like any other booking.

FAQ

How fast does an offer go out after a cancellation?

Within seconds of the slot being freed, if you have auto-send on. If you prefer to review first, the offer waits in a queue until you approve it, which still takes under a minute in practice.

What if nobody on the waitlist replies Yes?

TerminJet works down a ranked list. If the first patient declines or doesn't answer in time, the next suitable person is offered the slot. The hour keeps getting reoffered until it's filled or you close it.

Will patients get messaged without their permission?

No. Only patients who gave WhatsApp or SMS consent are contacted, and that consent is recorded with a timestamp. Anyone without it is skipped.

Does this replace our booking system?

No, it sits on top of it. Patients still book the way they do now; TerminJet adds the recovery layer that refills slots when those bookings fall through.
